HURRICANE IAN RELIEF

Hurricane Ian Relief

Our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Wisconsin Annual Conference of the UMC as they seek to respond to and begin recovering from the devastation left by Hurricane Ian.

On September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian made landfall on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Storm surges and Category 4 winds caused significant flooding and damage, devastating the southwest area of the state and beyond. While the damage is still being assessed, churches throughout the UMC Conference nationwide are coming together to assist.

UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) is responding to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, which destroyed lives and property here in the United States and elsewhere. Our best response is to pray and give what we can to help with recovery.

• If you are able to help financially, the UMCOR S. Disaster Response is Advance #901670.

• If you prefer to give to UMCOR for disaster response outside of the U.S., the International Disaster Response is Advance #982450.

• Write a check made out to Trinity U.M.C. with the Advance #901670 on the memo line for U.S. Disaster Response.

• For International Disaster Response, write Advance #982450.
